To start, click the Define button in the Sketch tab.

Next, select the shape on the sketch that you want to add a label for. You can tell a shape has been selected when it's highlighted in blue (see screenshot below).

If you want to add a label outside of a shape, disregard this step.

There are over 25 text available for you to choose from, or you can add your own custom text if you don't see what you're looking for.

Any custom text you add will be saved to this list for future use on other report sketches. Your custom text will also appear at the top of the list for easy access.

Make sure the label you want to apply has been selected and click where in the selected shape you want the label to go. That's all there is to it!

Please Note: If you forget to select the shape before choosing the label you want to apply, simply click on this button to move the label.

Quick Tips for Labels

  • Delete a label that's on the sketch by selecting it so it's highlighted in green then click "Delete" or press "D" on your keyboard. This is what a label looks like when selected:

  • Move labels around by selecting it and using the arrow keys or buttons to adjust it accordingly.

  • You can duplicate the text by clicking on your right mouse button.

  • Use the Undo and Redo buttons anytime to correct a mistake, quickly.

  • Click the "X" next to any labels in the panel and it will be removed from the list for future use.
