We've made some exciting new changes to the window that appears when you set an Appointment Date on the appraisal details page.

Scheduling an Appointment

Just to refresh your memory, this is what you'd see when you set the Appointment Date prior to these new changes:

Please Note! The actual functionality of scheduling an Appointment Date has not changed in any way. We have only simplified the process and made it easier to pick the date and time separately πŸ˜ƒ

Begin by going to the appraisal details page for the order you're updating, and select Click to set underneath the Appointment Date icon.

This is where you'll see the upgrades we've made. This new pop up window lets you pick the date and time individually, add a note if you want, and flag the appointment as "Requested" if that's the case (we will go over Requested Appointments later in this article). Click Set when you're ready to schedule the appointment.

Please Note: The Appointment Date will default to a time of 8:00am unless another time is entered.

When you've confirmed the date and time, it will appear in blue text on the details page going forward.

A new event will show on the Activity Feed for this order notifying you of the Appointment Date:

You'll also see an event on the Calendar for this appointment:

If you want to change the date or time of the appointment you can do that anytime by clicking on the existing Appointment Date field (the blue text), updating the relevant details, then click Set again. To clear the event altogether, click Clear, then Set.

Requesting an Appointment

Typically an appraiser will be the one who requests an appointment, then the admin(s) can go to that order and check whether or not that date/time works, then confirm the appointment.

Begin by going to the appraisal details page for the order you're updating, and select Click to set underneath the Appointment Date icon.

This is where you'll see the upgrades we've made. This new pop up window lets you pick the date and time individually, add a note if you want, and flag the appointment as Requested. Click Set when you're ready to request the appointment.

After requesting the appointment date and time, it will appear in blue text on the details page. Anyone with access to this order can also see the icon that lets you know this appointment has been requested.

The Activity Feed will update accordingly. You can get events for Requested Appointment Date Note, Appointment Date Status (the Requested flag has been triggered), and Appointment Date (the date and time).

You'll also see an event on the Calendar for this appointment and it will clearly state that it is a Requested time (until it's confirmed):

Please Note: You must have the Tentative Appointments filter turned on for your Calendar in order to see Requested appointments.

Orders with Requested Appointments will also show badges on the main appraisal list under the Appointment column. This makes it really easy to see at a glance which orders have appointments that need to be confirmed.

You'll see a new notification appear next to the bell icon at the top of your screen, this means you have a new Global Update notification.

The list of events that you get notified for now includes Appointment Requested, Appointment Date Set, and Appointment Date Removed. You can uncheck any of these options if you don't want to get notified for that activity type.

Here's a preview of a the full Global Updates screen. Appointment Date Removed and Appointment Date Set both show up with blue icons next to them. Appointment Requested events will show up with an orange icon so they stand out from the other appointment-related activities.

Confirming a Requested Appointment

Click on the appointment details again to change any of the information, see or edit the note, and remove the Requested flag when you're ready to confirm the date and time entered. Removing the Requested flag will Confirm the Appointment Date. Click the green button that says Set when you're done.

The date and time will still show as it did before, but there will no longer be any orange Requested badges on this order in Anow.

The Activity Feed will now show a new Appointment Date Status event saying the appointment is confirmed.

And last but not least, the Calendar event will no longer say Requested, it will simply show the order details, date and time.
