To start, click the Labels button in the Sketch tab.
Next, select the shape on the sketch that you want to add a label for. You can tell a shape has been selected when it's highlighted in purple (see screenshot below).
If you want to add a label outside of a shape, disregard this step.
There are over 25 labels available for you to choose from, or you can add your own custom label if you don't see what you're looking for.
Any custom labels you add will be saved to this list for future use on other report sketches. Your custom label will also appear at the top of the list for easy access.
Make sure the label you want to apply has been selected (outlined in green) and click where in the selected shape you want the label to go. That's all there is to it!
Please Note: If you forget to select the shape before choosing the label you want to apply, simply click 2 times on the sketch where you want it to go.
If you need to add the same label multiple times to the same sketch, use the Stamp Mode tool to make it even easier. First, click the Stamp Mode icon. Second, click all the places on the sketch page where you need this label to be, and it will be applied immediately.
Please Note: If you’re using stamp mode to place labels inside of a closed shape, you will need to click 2 times to apply the label.
Remember to turn off Stamp Mode when you're done. Click the icon again to turn it off.
Quick Tips for Labels
- Delete a label that's on the sketch by selecting it so it's highlighted in green then click "Delete" or press "D" on your keyboard. This is what a label looks like when selected:
- Move labels around by selecting it and using the arrow keys or buttons to adjust it accordingly.
- Use the Undo and Redo buttons anytime to correct a mistake, quickly.
- Click the "X" next to any labels in the panel and it will be removed from the list for future use.
